6 March 2014 The Real Thing

It is important to be a person who is able to relate in some way with others, but at the same time not lose sight of who you are as an individual.  It is not important to be liked by everyone, but it is important to be the kind of person that everyone can get along with in order to be a positive asset for work, organizations, or anything where cooperation is essential.

When you are hurt as an individual, it is easy to be angry all the time.  Anger is a wall of defense to keep others from getting close to you.  If you are not close to someone emotionally the you are not hurt quite as much when they do something that does hurt you.

It is difficult for many of us to trust others especially when we have been severely hurt by those who we are suppose to be able to trust.  Trust is a difficult thing and not easy to maintain when life as been rough all along.

I have no idea where I am going with this line of thinking, it is just stuff that is on my mind.
